Walking Shadow II
1998-2000
Resin, steel, pigment
72 x 32 x 20 "

A series that is loosely based on the idea of taking the artists shadow and rendering it in three dimensions and partly a reference to the passage in Macbeth:

Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player,
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage,
And then is heard no more. It is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.
