For this project I cast a massive cube of plaster (the same material as street chalk) that is the same volume as my body and weighed 246.4 lbs and dragged it from my studio through Somerville and Cambridge MA to Arlington Ma. In the process, I 'drew' a huge, continuous, chalk line while simultaneously wearing down the block into a sculpted form. For me, it is a piece full of resistance, friction, struggle and, possibly, beauty.
